Kanehide Kise Country Club

Instead of playing golf, use the Clubhouse Lodge's Deluxe Cottage as your travel accommodation. It seems to be standard to stay before and after golf play, but I wanted to stay in a Villa instead of a hotel, so I used it for the first time. Less than 90 minutes by highway from the airport. There are no supermarkets nearby, so food and beverages need to be sourced in Naha or go to Nago. Convenience stores are within 5-10 minutes by car. Restaurants are not within walking distance, so if you take a 5-10 minute taxi ride to the national highway, there are several. Check-in and Check-out is done at the reception desk of the Golf Course Clubhouse, but there is no transfer to the Cottage, so it is inconvenient to travel by foot or car. The breakfast restaurant is also conveniently located in the golf course clubhouse. The building was a bit old, but the bathrooms were renovated and pretty. With the exception of some outdoor showers, it is well-cleaned. Inside the Cottage, there are two twin bedrooms, each equipped with a bath, toilet and sink for ease of use. It was nice to have a separate shower booth, bathtub and separate toilet with bidet. The main living room includes a dining set and sofa, low table, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, disposable slippers, tea and coffee, mineral water and more. There is a small private pool outside, but a lot of small insects and canabungs float around seasonally, so I couldn't bring myself to go in. There is a barbecue space outside, but it can't be done in rainy weather because there is no roof. I rented a barbecue stove, but when I inquired beforehand, I was told that it was 8,000 yen for the duration of my stay, but when I went there, they said it was 8,000 yen a night, so I stayed two nights and returned it overnight. 8,000 yen per night is very expensive. Most disappointing and inconvenient of all, there was no kitchen or sink in the Cottage. The Premium Cottage apparently has a kitchen. Furthermore, barbecue stoves are available for rent, but kitchen knives, chopping boards and cooking utensils are not. I had no choice but to go to Nago City and buy it at a 100 yen shop. All they offer are paper plates, split chopsticks, salt and pepper, and oil. I could order ingredients, but I didn't do it because it was not cost effective. At the barbecue, there are so many kanabung and small bugs that people who are not good at insects should be careful. The response of the staff is normal. They specialize in the reception of golf courses, so they should learn how to reception, serve and treat the hotel business.

The challenging course layout and beautiful views were outstanding. The course staff and employees were very professional and friendly, but no one spoke English. Next time I will go to PGM Golf Resort Okinawa

Is quite old resort with golf club, far away from town, no lift, we need to move our baggage by ourselves, 4 beds room good for family traveller. Only one restaurant and have sauna. Not 24 hours reception.
