Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa

My family stayed on the club floor. This time it was not for sightseeing, it was simply for spending time in the hotel, but it started with a welcome drink on arrival, then we had a very comfortable and enjoyable time outside of the room with the pool, club lounge, spa, in-house activities, rental games and fairs. What enlivened it even more was the spectacular view from the guest room. I had about 160 degree sea views from my room, and the voltage rose to its peak in a flash. The lounge service, which is offered at different times of the day, was particularly excellent and relaxed. The next morning we had a buffet at Quacky. The colorful doughnuts and mini hamburgers are very good and one of a kind! I would love to use it again.

All rooms have private balconies overlooking the East China Sea. The ocean and forests of Yanbaru, Okinawa, spread out before your eyes. The higher floors are especially recommended. The spacious 44.6 sq m rooms are spacious enough to relax in. Relax on the sofa or balcony and enjoy a luxurious resort stay. An official partner hotel of Junglia Okinawa, scheduled to open in July 2025. There is also a direct shuttle bus that departs the hotel at 8:45 and arrives at Junglia Okinawa at 9:25.

We stayed in the club lounge and were very happy. [About the room] 　The room is large and the bathroom is marble? I was impressed by the high-quality feeling and the warm heat that the mirror does not fog even if it is steam. 　The shower room is also compact, but it was designed from the beginning to have space for things, which was convenient for things like shaving. Surprisingly, shower rooms often have no room for things (even stainless steel sheds to some extent), so this was another high point. However, shampoo and other items were bottled and could not be taken home. 　There have been reviews that the facilities are old, but I'm glad that the old luxury hotels have a more imposing feel, as many of the new hotels these days don't actually have a sense of luxury. The elevators feel old, too, but that's also good. [About Club Lounge] 　The lounges in the Club Lounge are spacious, just off the entrance to what would have been a former hotel lounge (cafe). No, this is wide, wide. And the ceiling is high, too. This is a different kind of club room from other hotels. Seats are designed to be very relaxing, sofas and chairs, and it's really a hotel lounge, (or so I'd say) and at night it provides a very atmospheric space with just a tablelight. 　The snacks and food on offer were also slightly higher than other hotel clubs. Some clubs have only snacks. 　Breakfast was three nights, so we had Western, Japanese and club food, but the club's prices were different from Viking food. That means different dishes are served. In Viking, there are always a lot of children, so it falls off quite a lot qualitatively. Obviously, it's frozen, or the egg Benedict is a fake egg. 　Fake Egg Benedict has been traumatized since his experience with fake poached eggs at Hoshino Resort, and he has always been suspicious of hotel-cooked egg dishes. Hotel Nikko Alibia was also a fake Viking. Apparently, it may have become commonplace in the industry in four-star hotels. So how was the club? I ordered something different, so I didn't actually eat it, but when I saw the egg Benedict that the others ordered, the surface was collapsed and my wife said, "It's real." So you should eat at the club after all. [About Spa] 　If you stay at the club, you can use the spa for free, so I went in. What impressed me about the spa was that there was a hook on the wall to hang towels in the bathroom. This was the first case. The same number as the locker number is displayed on the hook, so it is easy to understand. Bringing a towel into the bathroom allows you to wipe your body in front of the bathroom entrance and exit, so the floor of the dressing room does not flood. And since the number of hooks is limited, we adjust the number of people to avoid crowding. This is also good because you can take a relaxing bath. 　They also put their shoes in lockers. You can keep your private life because you don't put it randomly in a so-called geta box. (You can't walk in slippers, so you'll have to wear shoes to the spa.) 　People with Japanese tattoos were used at the spa. Since I was with children, I didn't feel particularly disgusted, but I was able to note that it was my first experience of seeing someone with a tattoo at a spa. The hotel's instructions don't mention tattoos at all, so that's OK. I personally didn't think anything of it this summer, since I'm with my children, but I think that "Japanese tattoos" generally seem "strange" to Japanese people, so if you're concerned, you might want to keep that in mind. [Review] 　Since it was a year-end and New Year’s lodging, the event was amazing at the end of the year, with quizzes on hotel TV inviting celebrities, serving soba noodles, countdown fireworks, shishimai (lion dance) and mochi pounding competitions. 　Fireworks are set off at the same time at nearby hotels, so you can enjoy about three times as much. No, this is great. 　I gave it a total rating of 5. Staying in the Club Lounge is a must, however. There are still some good things about it, but next time I'd like to revisit the season with fewer children and a climate that puts them in the pool.
