I'm on a one-night stay at the Vessel Hotel Ishigaki. This is my first stay at a Vessel Hotel, but I've seen the brand here in Japan before. The hotel is near the port in Ishigaki. Check in was very good. The young woman working at check in on the 15th was among the most helpful and cheerful people I have seen at any check in during my 30 years living in Japan. She is a treasure. She got me checked in, told me where to buy snacks nearby and introduced me to the free Awamori tasting area in the reception area. The free Awamori (the local liquor) area makes this hotel special. I have never seen that before at a hotel. The room itself is quite comfortable, and spacious enough for two people. The bed is on the hard side, something I've noticed is common on the less populated Okinawan islands. My room is also quiet, something I greatly appreciate. Breakfast this morning was a nice mix of local and standard choices. Fried Spam, Goya stir fry, these are local favorites. Overall I have had an excellent stay at the Vessel Hotel Ishigaki. As I have a ferry to a neighbor island today, the hotel location near the port is perfect for me. Well done Vessel Hotel Ishigaki. I will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.

A business hotel close to central Ishigaki. It is about a 6 minute walk from the remote island terminal. Airport buses can also be dropped off at the remote island terminal. This time we're going to a remote island. It doesn't feel like a resort because you're just sleeping. Book here because it's affordable. The guest rooms are shoeless and go up. It's a business hotel, but it doesn't feel that small. The interior is simple. There is a large desk ◎. There's a washroom in the cabin. It's separate from the bathroom. It doesn't matter if you're staying alone. The bathroom is a standard unit. Amenities are picked up in the lobby in the style In addition to tooth brushing set, shaving, etc. The contents are substantial, in part because of toner. They are also free to drink coffee and tea. There's a drinks corner in the lobby. In the evening, you can also have awamori. The nice service here is free bicycles and Free towel rental. From the lobby when you go out to the beach It is convenient to borrow large eye towels freely. It's a little dark around the hotel at night. The downtown area is about a five-minute walk away. It doesn't feel like a resort, but if it's a good cospa, I recommend it. Breakfast is also recommended, with a stonewall-like menu. Plastic dishes and paper cups are negative.

OJIJI-PAPA

It is located a short walk from the remote island terminal, bus center and Eugenia Mall. Tooth brushing and other amenities are picked up before boarding the elevator. Washing machine corner, room with a tataki at the entrance? I thought it would be useful for people who do marine activities. It's not a cheap price range, but this is what it looks like as a resort, so I had the impression that it was comfortable enough. I thought the view varied from room to room (ratings varied) depending on the mountain side and the sea side.
