If you go first, you will be disappointed with the difference from the photo. The inside is dirty and the employees are of poor quality. It is not a good old building that is unique to a long-established store, it is just a dilapidated and dirty building. The windows next to the stairs on the third floor were cracked, the hallway was dirty, the tatami in the room was discolored and dirty, there was mold in the open-air bath in the room, the sunoko rattled and the other side floated and it was scary. The roll screen, which was hidden from view from the outside, was covered in transparent tape and seamed, and the edges were torn open, making me feel miserable. The TV in the room was old-fashioned, the remote was dirty, the futon was smelly and dirty, and, best of all, the stains. The last thing I wanted was to smell piss the minute I walked into the toilet. The food has been let down less than you could ever imagine, and the employees don't greet anyone but the customers. Around the front desk, in charge in a suit? There was not even a commentary when I walked past employees in black shirts, and when I walked through a hotel and bowed to a young employee in a green happi coat, he ignored me. I don't think it's anachronistic to think of customers as God. I don't want to deal with that, but I think we have respect for the customers (people) who pay our salaries. It was really rattling when I used it. With such interiors and the quality of employees, you probably don’t have repeat customers. I don't want to use it again. I wanted to spend the money I worked so hard to find comfort, but I didn't feel good about it.

I stayed only for the eel junjun hot pot (boku nabe). It's a local dish in the north of Lake Biwa. Soy sauce flavored hot pot. Surprisingly, there were many customers who asked for junjun pot. In a small pot of soup, add white-grilled eel with vegetables. It was a delicious hot pot, but it was unfortunate that the amount of eel was small. The rooms and the building are the exact opposite of barrier-free. Customer service is somewhat poor and the water is not good. Above all, there are too few eels!!! Omi beef, grilled on a ceramic plate, has only a shard. Ingredients are good, including sashimi, but few!!! In total, it can be said to be a delicious inn.

We stayed at the inn at the invitation of our second son and his wife. We were very satisfied with the large public bath, which was equipped with an open-air bath and sauna, but the open-air hot spring bath with a jacuzzi in the guest room was also very tasteful and we enjoyed it many times, making it a truly hot spring-filled stay. There was also a sunken kotatsu-style conversation room in the room, where we were able to spend meaningful time chatting. The food was also creative, making use of seasonal ingredients, and we were very satisfied with both the taste and the volume of dishes such as matsutake mushroom dobinmushi and Omi beef steak. When we checked out, our grandchildren enjoyed drawing pictures while we had our morning coffee in the "Irori-no-Ma" hearth room at the back of the lobby or in the library corner, allowing us to relax. The staff also took a commemorative photo of our family, and we were able to see them off with smiles on our faces until the very end, making it a fulfilling and relaxing two days. Thank you!
