Koko Hotel Shizouka is very centrally located, near the pedestrian walking area. A young male receptionist, forgot to ask for his name. He assisted us with our parking lot issue patiently. The room itself was small but comfortable. Breakfast was substantial with enough of variety. I stayed for 2 nights as a base to travel to Fujinomiya,Mt. Fuji World Heritage Centre Shiraito Falls, Miho no Matsubara (Miho Pine Forest), Kashi-no-Ichi Market Chibi Maruko Chan Land, Nippondaira.

Lately, have you seen young people who can offer attentive service to foreigners? I was treated as a very friendly and kind foreign-owned hotel, a bit good enough to make me want to come back. I was particularly impressed with their fluent language. The small male staff was just amazing. Now it would be nice to replace the young and beautiful Japanese staff at a normal business hotel.

a cosy and homely hotel in Shizuoka, about 15 mins walk from Shizuoka station. My family and i enjoyed our 3 days stay in this hotel. There is a barber and family mart just mins from this hotel. a special shoutout to that Filipino receptionist, who helps book 2 taxis on our last days. So sorry i did not get your name.
