This ryokan stay was the highlight of my trip to Japan! We lucked out that it was a clear evening in the area so we were able to observe Mt. Fuji in sunset, at midnight, and at sunrise!
The room that I stayed in was a room for 5 and it was pretty spacious and sleeping on a cushion was a pretty unique experience. The traditional Japanese dinner was pretty cool too, and the breakfast had pretty diverse choices.
The onsen was such a top-tier experience! Especially after dipping on the hot tub with the sunrise over Mt. Fuji, heading straight to breakfast was such a relaxing feeling. The room provides a pouch bag and a set of two towels.
Quite frankly I have never tried to take a shower in the room because I was pretty much taking advantage of my precious time in the onsen.

It was too cospy and I felt apologetically comfortable! I definitely want to stay again! I'm with an elementary school student, a toddler, and a grandmother, so I searched for a facility with a swimming pool, an inn with hot springs, and I was worried about water accidents because the beach was crowded and there were few adults, so all I was looking for was a swimming pool. There were many facilities for other hot spring pools, but hot spring pools feel even hotter in summer. This is a normal pool, the water temperature was comfortable, and the shade was great! Both the swimming pool and the public bath were available on weekdays during the summer holidays without being crowded.
After sightseeing and lunch in the morning, arrive early after 12 o'clock. The pool is available from 11 o'clock and for consecutive nights from 10 o'clock.
The Entrance staff are also kind and can park and check-in smoothly and go straight to the pool! Changing rooms, toilets and showers have just been renovated and are clean. There is also one electric dehydrator that drains well. There are also two swimming pools, one for small children, so both those who are anxious if they can't get their feet on it and those who want to swim tight can enjoy it. Free rental is available in front of the front desk for each group. Get a limited edition killer whale! The water and hot springs were drenched, the water temperature was just right ◎ It was very satisfying to use almost exclusively. Stay one night and use the pool the next day after checking out. There is a shower by the pool, and some of them release the cool large hall as a resting place, so it is safe to travel for three generations.
We left our luggage in the car because the front desk is busy during the busy season, but those with far parking can keep it. The front desk sister also has a lovely smile and is really kind.
We played in the pool until 3pm, then in a passing game corner, unpacked from the car and went to our rooms. The kids are in a huge corner room. Buildings with three to five floors tend to be downstairs, and families with children seemed to be on the same floor, so I was grateful without hesitation. The large refrigerator makes room for the freezer, which helps at this time of year. All hot spring towels are cute in different colors! I'm taking my room towel to the public bath, so I want baskets and bags. Also, try a little harder to clean the details. Please use futon bedding during meals. Many of them have been laid recently or self-serve, so thank you for maintaining the futon-covered service.
The meal was also very satisfying ◎ There was a free drink bar for soft drinks, the infant food was beautifully arranged in baskets, salad rolls, chawanmushi, tokudai shrimp fries, stewed hamburgers, nuggets, lean meat products, soups, macaroni salad, cakes, etc. You can start eating right away. Elementary school meals are also hearty, somewhere between adult and toddler meals. There is salad-rolled sushi for toddlers, and there is no white rice that comes with elementary school meals, but I asked for it immediately. The quality of the sashimi was good, I liked all the flavors, and I was happy to have high quality ingredients such as tuna, abalone and sea urchin ~! The amount is enough for a standard meal, but there are also a variety of custom-made dishes at reasonable prices, such as abalone sashimi for 1,760 yen, spiny lobster for 4,180 yen, and boiled golden sea bream for 1,320 yen (as of 2024.8)?! I also like a balanced breakfast buffet, and they make freshly made salted ramen, ochazuke and French toast. When I brought my child with me, he was impressed by the toppings and asked me what to pull out.
Don't forget the public bath. 11-24:00 and the following 5-9:00. It is not a swap system. Women are on the top six floors of the East Wing. There was a sauna, a water bath, and a spacious open-air bath in front of the majestic Mt. There was baby soap and chairs for little ones, and the changing rooms and baths were really spacious.
The good accommodation had a good clientele, and the elderly couple, who were regulars talking to me kindly, and the guests with children were all kind. The warm and cozy atmosphere was contagious and happy empty!
We climbed a steep slope and looked old and a little anxious when we arrived, but as it turned out, it was New Eight Viewing Gardens in Paradise!!

I went to Niji no Sato with my dog and used the hot spring for a day trip.
I thought it would be safe because there was a pet hotel attached, but
it was just a warehouse with no windows and no people where you could just leave your dog, and it seemed like he was crying the whole time, so I felt bad for him. I should have just left his cage in the car.
So don't think you can bring your pet with you (especially if you're staying the night).
The reception staff were very friendly, and the spacious open-air bath with a direct view of Mt. Fuji was new, clean, and amazing.
The exterior and lobby atmosphere felt like they were still in the Showa era, so I'm not sure if I'd want to stay there.
