Accommodation in a dog room. It's just so big. 2 bays, stone window space, tatami hallway, long hot spring bath. Outside the wide window is a private dog run in a Japanese garden. It is a luxury to check in early and spend your time slowly because it is a room meal. The room food was nice. And with that in mind, room food still smells like food, so the dog has a gauge and I think I would have liked to eat it at the restaurant. The Japanese garden dog run has pine, stone, moss and taste. The spider web, the dog without a mushroom, happily explored. I was able to walk around the Japanese garden, which I was proud of, on my own pet cart, and I liked the slightly colored autumn colors. The smiles of the staff and the attention to detail of their concern are also part of the cozy stay.

The world is indeed a small place. Had the opportunity to stay here (3-13-25) with my Japanese family and learned while there that it originated as a summer home of the son of Mitsubishi’s founder. HIs daughter was Miki Sawada, who among other things founded the Elizabeth Saunders Home for orphans. Miki was very close friends with Dr. Paul Rusch (Kiyosato KEEP and Rikkyo University) and I am good friends with Rusch’s young secretary Tsuru from those days, she quite old now and also very close friends with Miki. I've no doubt the two of them were here at some point when it was Iwasaki-san's summer home. A very beautiful, peaceful place, the interesting connection makes my reflection of our visit even more meaningful. Hope to return someday

Good: You can feel staffs are very welcome to serve you. But I would like to apologize for my late arrival and cause those staffs have to wait me. Dinner in room is excellent. Full of sashimi, raw lobster and their famous soy sauce cooked fish. Many of staff could communicate with English. Room is spacious. Excellent garden. In room onsen is good. Cons: Not much attraction nearby, but the hotel could give you a relax as you don’t have to hurry to many places. Room’s wear and tear is a bit problem and really have to address it as the price per night is quite high. However, it is very clean at all.
