Hotel Sunroute Utsunomiya

Quite near the Utsunomiya Station West Exit. Many Gyoza(dumpling) restaurants are near the hotel. The hotel bed was very comfortable. You can go to Ohya area riding on the bus No.6 from the bus terminal nearby and also Utsunomiya light rail which inaugurated in August ,2023 as second after Toyama are available from East Exit

2mins walk from train station, with lots of restaurants around. The hotel has a small car park but must be pre-booked, or park in the train station with discounted fee. Though it is not in Tokyo, the room is still pretty small, I can only open my luggage behind the door.

The location of the hotel is very good. The breakfast is not buffet style. It is fresh cooked. The rooms can be small, but i guess that is normal for Japan buisness hotels for that price. You can get different styles of pillow at the reception.
