It is only a few minutes walk from the Toyoko Inn, which is visible from the east exit's pedestrian deck through the Shinkansen ticket gate. Check-in time is faster if you have a Toyoko Inn membership card, which is both manned and self-machined. Amenities such as shaving other than a toothbrush are placed in front of the front desk, in a slightly larger room and Toyoko Inn Standard. The breakfast venue was not in the lobby but in a separate room, with white rice, cooked rice and yakisoba noodles, scrambled eggs, fried chicken and lotus root, raw vegetables and German potatoes, etc. The venue was so crowded that coffee was placed in take-out cups in the room, which was enough for a business trip breakfast. This was a cheap and cost-effective Toyoko Inn compared to Tokyo.

I was able to stay comfortably. I spent two nights twice over two weeks to take the course. Although the rooms were simplified and cost-reduced as much as possible, the accommodation itself was not problematic and the price was reasonable, so I was able to stay in peace and comfort. It is conveniently located in front of Utsunomiya Station and there is Super Yaoko nearby.

Our accommodation in Utsunomiya was Toyoko Inn Utsunomiya Ekimae 1. Located about a three-minute walk from Utsunomiya Station, "Utsunomiya Ekimae I" and "Utsunomiya Ekimae II" stood side by side. Since ‘Ⅱ’ consisted only of single rooms, we inevitably chose ‘Ⅰ’ because we wanted twin rooms. 　The Toyoko Inn is not suitable for those who want a luxurious and rich stay, but it has bright and clean interiors and rooms, and reasonable room rates are favorable. Complimentary breakfast buffet is included, but the contents also felt upgraded in recent years.
