Overall, I think it's worth the price. There is a convenience store super laundromat in the area, so you can stay for a few days. It looks like a short walk from the station, but it didn't bother me. It seems to have been partially updated here and there (there's a National hair dryer and USB power) to keep up with the times, so it's undeniable that it's choppy. The ceiling is also low (you could reach it by reaching out), so I think it feels small, mainly for men and people from overseas. Also, why was it twin but different bed sizes? It was strange.

I stayed at the Ohedo for a single night. The hotel is very good for a short stay. The rooms are pretty small but it’s understandable since its location is in Tokyo. The staff are quite friendly. They also offer breakfast in the morning. You can ask for seconds on coffee, bread (western breakfast), rice (eastern breakfast). It was delicious and good quality. Overall the property is no frills and straight forward. However, it is clean, quiet and convenient. Ikebukuro train station is very near. There are also many restaurants and shops in close proximity.

The Hotel Ohedo was very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were small compaired to American hotels but it was big enough for me. My room was very clean and did not smell like smoke. Very quiet at night. It was a 5 minute walk to the subway. And there was so many places to eat within walking distance. The only complaint I have was no English language stations on the TV. LOL. I didn't watch much TV anyway.
