I was surprised to see the president on TV because he is a fine man. This is because I had a very bad feeling when I stayed at the hotel before, and I can't believe the response of the frontline staff who work under the "aspiration" of this respectable president. We stayed for three nights and four days from the end of November, 2020. We used the free coffee service on check-in on the first day, and the tray was nearby, so we used it to bring the coffee to our room. The problem happened when I was checking out, when the front desk staff asked me if I had taken the tray, and I immediately realized what I had done when I checked in three days earlier and said, "I used it for a tray," and the front desk staff explained that the tray was not for carrying, but was placed in a saucer of the coffee machine, and I thought it was a tray and accidentally took it to my room, but the front desk staff said, "That's a saucer. They're recording me taking it and checking it out!" I was baffled by how much blame I could get for mistaking the saucer for a tray, but another front desk staff member asked, "Where is that tray now?"I said, "I left it in my room," and he immediately went to check it out and brought it to the front desk. I was very shocked to realize that they thought I had stolen the tray. When I returned home, I called the customer service office to ask for their response, and they told me that it was "internal correspondence -> contact to the store -> guidance to the staff," so I decided to ask them to tell me the result of what they came to. Later that evening, the manager contacted him and apologized, saying, "I checked the footage (with the recording) at the check-out, it should not have been terrible," and when he asked him about the tray, "Why didn't you call me that day or the next day, but at the check-out?" he said, "I checked with the staff and others because I found out the tray was missing, and I found out the night before the check-out was late, so I didn't call." Also, when I asked about the front desk staff who treated me as a thief, they said, "It's a week's vacation and I'll contact you when I get it confirmed," and after nearly a week, the manager contacted me again, saying, "The person comes to work, reviews the footage with the person, provides guidance, and reflects on the person." When I asked if he hadn't contacted me in a week since I was treated as a thief, he said, "I put in an email, but he didn't respond, and he didn't notice," and he didn't seem at all willing to respond promptly. When I told them what I wanted them to respond to in writing, they said, "I'm not doing that," and when I told them that I wasn't satisfied with their willingness to just make a phone call, they said, "Can I contact you from the customer service office?", so I decided to wait for them to contact me. The next day, I received a call from the customer service office, saying that I had not answered the question in writing, and all I had to do was apologize. When I tell them that I am being treated as a thief, they respond with a stupefying "I didn't say the staff stole it," and the person who bullied me with the bullying theory just doesn't think it is bullying, and if the person who was bullied feels it is bullying, they don't seem to know it at all. When I told them that I was thinking about making this matter public as fact, they said, "That would constitute harassment," and I felt that it was not asking for money or goods, but rather that it would be inappropriate to say or do something that would be made public without even a letter of apology, just a phone call. It's a bad memory because the trip I enjoyed was ruined in an instant and I showed no remorse for how I handled it. I would post bad thoughts that I had almost forgotten about how I would feel if I saw the president on TV and knew this fact.

The staff was the worst. A trip that was supposed to end just because it was fun was ruined at checkout, and it became a bad travel memory. There are two coffee machines and paper cups at the end of the lobby on the first floor so you can drink freely. I checked in and used it immediately. There was a white tray in front of the two machines, about 10cm long and 20cm wide, and I thought it would be OK to use it on a tray, so I put two coffees on it and took it to my room. There are no tables in the rooms and telephones, hair dryers and TVs are placed on the counter desks. I had a lot of coffee during the three nights, so it came in handy to put it on this tray and on the counter desk. I left it in my room when I checked out, but the front desk staff of three asked if I had taken a white tray with me, and when I said, "I used it for the tray," one of the three staff members said quite strongly, "That was a saucer." He was baffled by how much blame he could get just for mistaking it for a tray!?, but added: 'I'm sure you can see in the video where I'm taking it.' I was shocked when I felt like I was being told it was because I was checking it in my bag. My husband got angry, saying it was rude, but another staff member said, "Where is that white tray now..." and I said, "I left it in my room. Please go and check it out now. I'm here." And that staff member went to look in the room and said, "Yes, there is." And he came back with a tray. If you don’t want to be taken away, why don’t you fix it or put it up with the words, “It’s a saucer so it’s strictly prohibited to take it out.” It is disgusting to think that we have been accused unilaterally when we have failed to make such efforts. Why should it be said this way? When I came back, my husband called the customer center. The manager of Toyoko INN Toyama Station Shinkansen Exit 1 called me, but I will check and the next call will be in a week. I understand that this is because the staff members who have insisted on it were taking a week off. Don't you think a week of neglect is terrible!? I would call you on the way to ask for a little more time. That's why Toyoko INN Toyama Station Shinkansen Exit 1 is the worst. I'm not looking for great service because I can afford it. I think the minimum is fine. The front desk staff was not able to do that minimum. By the way, there is also Toyoko INN Toyama Station Shinkansen Exit 2 nearby, and I stayed there this spring, and this one made such wonderful travel memories without any such thing. I don't want you to make a mistake because these two are so close, but 1 is the worst and 2 is very good. 2 is right in front of the station and 1 is a short walk from the station.

It is located a little far from the downtown area. There are many parking lots nearby that are cheaper than the hotel's, so it is more economical to use them. Check-in and check-out are automated, but there are few people at the front desk when checking in or checking out in the evening or morning, so if you have to ask the front desk for help that cannot be handled by the machine, you will have to wait more than 10 minutes. Free meals are provided, but the space in front of the front desk on the first floor is used as a dining area, so you cannot relax on the first floor when waiting for your companion at check-out.
