The location is great if you do not need to be in Shinjuku, Shibuya or Ginza. Easy access from the airport and a short walk to JR station and 3 subway lines. Food choices are great and not as expensive as Shinjuku. The room is very very small but this is typical of Japanese hotel. I felt cramped even for a solo traveler. There is an onsen on the rooftop which is great. There is free ice-cream and ramen in the evening. Breakfast is good too but having the same stuff for 8 days is not exciting. There is no complimentary room cleaning service. However, you can pay for it if you want a room cleaning service. Overall, given the great location and the super cheap price of about USD 50 per night which comes with a sumptuous breakfast, I will definitely book it again if I can get the price.

Positives - Convenient location for Narita Airport and Tokyo Station. There is free guest laundry and dryers only cost 100Y for 20 minutes. There is an onsen and free ice creams for guests. Negatives - the room is very small so a challenge for 2 people with suitcases. It is also showing wear and appears to not have been updated for some time. There is only 1 lift for a large building so it takes a long time to wait or you can use the stairs if you are close to the ground.

Room: small, as you may expect, but sufficient for one person. There's a small desk and closet area with a chair. Mini fridge was very helpful in managing food. Despite being by an elevated highway and railway I didn't have problems with noise, though I was on the 10th floor. I'd stay here again. Location: very close to Ameyoko Market (endless food options and stores selling various items from kit kats to shoes) in addition to the department stores and kombini that are ubiquitous in Tokyo. Also close to the skyliner to Narita from Ueno station. Other: I enjoyed the morning yogurt drinks, evening ice cream, and ramen noodles. Also nice of them to supply cutlery on the 12 floor. The free laundry (Y100 for dryer) in the bath area was especially helpful, I just hung my laundry in my room to dry after turning on the dehumidifier. All the staff also seemed to speak functional English. Drawbacks: As others have noted, there's only one elevator for 108 rooms, so it can get busy at peak times. As a tourist I didn't have normal hours, but I wouldn't be surprised if you had to wait during the peaks.
