The capsules it offers are classified into flight classes. I stayed in one of the business class capsule for 2 nights and my experience was amazing! The hotel is within walking distance to Tokyo Station. Within the building they have 2 elevators. One of which is dedicated to females to access the female-only capsules. As I open the blind of the capsule, they have already prepared on the single bed a clean set of pajamas, towels, toothbrush, slippers and earphones (can take away). There are also a TV, 2 electrical outlets and one small locker in the capsule. There isn't a place to lock large luggage so I kept it outside my capsule. One thing I felt uncomfortable with is the rule that guests have to stay absolutely quiet in the capsule area. Though no one was complaining about the noise, I felt a bit embarrassed because of the noise I made when pulling the zippers. The bathroom for females is located on the 9/F. They have private shower cubicles and a public bath, which were incredibly clean whenever I went. Once again, I am impressed by how tidy and comfortable capsule hotels are in Japan. First Cabin Kyobashi did not disappoint me at all and had surprised me with the nice Japanese public bath. Will definitely stay again when I go to Tokyo.

We had an overnight stay at First Cabin because we wanted a hotel near the Tokyo Station for our early train the next day. It was a little hard to find, even with GPS and help from a couple of people but it’s down an alley/side street and is only 10 minute walk from the Kyobashi Metro Station. The first floor has a lovely restaurant with a nice variety of breakfast treats and sushi. The second floor is the lobby, which is beautifully decorated. The people at the concierge desk are very helpful and professional and speak English well. We stayed in one of three Premium rooms, which were essentially private hotel room (with locking doors). It was very spacious, especially by Tokyo standards and had lovely amenities (private toilet, iron, curling iron, hair dryer, etc.). The only amenity missing was a shower but we knew that going in. To bathe or shower, you need to go to the upper floors to the communal onsen-like bathroom (on different floors for men and women). They also have typical capsules for men and women (business and first class options), separated by floor but we only enjoyed the beautiful Premium room. Most capsules do not have private rooms for two or three people. Finding this hotel was a treasure! There is a spacious area in the lobby to work/hang out and they have vending machines with snacks, drinks, and beer. We loved our stay and would happily stay there again.

Clean, cosy and convenient. This hotel style and set up is practical, no frills and really designed for local business men/women. You get what you pay for and this is perfect if you’re looking for a clean place to put your head down for the night. Room is small, clean and comfortable enough. Some may find the bed hard but this is Asia and that’s how it is. Pyjamas and toiletries are provided. Toilets are on each floor. However be advised the men’s Bathroom is on the 8th floor. Again clean and good for a hot soak. 10mins walk from/to Tokyo station. Breakfast options are simple Japanese sets and costs ¥800 extra.
