Ryokan Hagihonjin

This hotel is worth 4 stars for its Comfort and Service, the architecture of the building is a bit austere but the rooms are very spacious, bright. The baths are great. Excellent dinner and buffet breakfast.

I stayed overnight with my wife without having to take a Bon holiday. This is my third visit. Stable supper is very delicious and belly bread. Nakai-san is also very well prepared, and I'm happy. After that, the breakfast buffet is as satisfying as ever. However, it was a shame that the cold water bath after the sauna had been removed and changed to a rain shower this time 😞 It was good that the sauna in the morning bath became an auteur ryu sauna, but the source bath was very warm and it was a shock that the water bath after the sauna in midsummer was removed. The sauna was hot and good, but bad. It’s a shame because it’s a good cospa, clean and has a good bath, and is my favorite inn 😞

Overnight as a family trip to Hagi with his father during the Bon festival. I was late for the chuck-in pre-contact time, but the person who greeted me outside did not look nasty and I felt welcome. But when I walked in, the lady guiding me around the room didn't feel heartfelt, she felt stick-read. The Japanese-style room is 10 tatami mats and is maintained cleanly, so the room itself does not feel old. The toilet, bath and sink are separate rooms, but it feels old here. I made the evening meal a pufferfish course, but I was satisfied to enjoy a wide variety of pufferfish dishes. What caught my attention was that when I arrived at the designated time, I was not easily guided, and the speed at which the food was served seemed to be somewhat slow. The baths that followed happened to have a small number of guests, so we could enjoy various types of baths slowly. The early morning bathing was even more different with the men and women changing hands. Breakfast had already started before 7am, which was somewhat confusing. The food was quite varied and of high quality, which was so satisfying that I couldn't eat it. In general, it was not comfortable because there were so many customers lined up. I thought it would be good to move up another hour from two hours from 7 to 9 to enjoy a relaxing breakfast. As a general comment, it is a highly satisfactory inn, so I would like to use it if I get another chance.
