Hotel Nishinagato Resort

I wanted to visit Tsunoshima at least once in my life and see it, but there was only one inn just off Tsunoshima Ohashi Bridge, and because of its popularity I was always not booked. That was the day we confirmed the weather was good a week ago, and we were able to book it from our website. I knew there was a free pick-up service to Shin-Shimonoseki Station, and I thought I could see the bridge from the hotel, but the bus driver who picked me up told me that I would cross the Tsunoshima Bridge and drive around Tsunoshima before going to the hotel, nonstop. I never thought I'd make it across the bridge, so I was thrilled. I was also able to take photos after being told about the scenic points of Tsunoshima Ohashi Bridge, which I can walk from the hotel. In addition, there is a free night tour more of Tsunoshima Lighthouse at night, which was also nice to see.

Stay in a Japanese-style room. The sea side has a large glass window that opens out in front of you the Tsunoshima Bridge and the sea. It was a great location. The exterior is old, and the interior, although some of it still retains the Showa feel, seems to have been renovated little by little, and the public bath, room tatami and toilets, and the kids' space on the fourth floor were clean and comfortable. Especially the open-air bath with ocean view was awesome! We also took a free lighthouse tour from 8pm. The light that illuminates the sea at night is so beautiful, and it was nice to get explanations. I recommend it.

This will be the fifth time I have visited Tsunoshima Ohashi. It is a great view that I never see again and again. I think it's the only inn where you can enjoy it. I stayed there once, about 10 years ago, and at that time the view was the only treat, and the food was clichéd, but the food was really amazingly high. It was buffet style in the morning and evening, but everything was elaborate and delicious. For an accommodation of this scale, it would be a fitting 💮. My family was very happy. If you want it, you'd like French toast for breakfast. The bath was also renovated and I put it in comfortably. I stayed in the Japanese-style room again, but I enjoyed the superb view with a single glass window. At night, the Tsunoshima Lighthouse Sightseeing Bus also left the hotel, and there was another fun part. There was also a private beach, so I thought I needed to book early for summer. We stayed there in winter, but enjoyed a walk on the private beach. Not only sightseeing in Tsunoshima, but also Motonosumi Shrine is a 30-minute drive away, and it is also conveniently located for sightseeing in Tanada and Senjoshiki. This inn is suitable for families and couples alike.
