There are many restaurants in the area, and a park right next to the hotel. As this is a hot spring hotel, it's nice to have a bed in a Western-style room. However, the room was bright with ceiling lights and felt like a room in an apartment. We went to the hot spring in the basement. It was a simple design with hot water overflowing from the bathtub. The open-air bath is on the top floor. The breakfast venue, which opens at 7am, was crowded with tour groups. There was a wide variety of food and it was delicious, but the food in this region is apparently strongly seasoned, which makes sense.

Stayed while catching up with a japanese friend. Hotel has big clean rooms in both western or Japanese style. Slightly upmarket business style hotel with comfortable beds and helpful staff. Nice hot bath onset on roof top.

In general the hotel is simple and generally alright. It is after all a Japanese business class hotel, which is slightly dated. I booked it mainly because it has an onsen on-site. The rooftop onsen was nice, but the bath area quite tight (fortunately there were not that many people when I was there).
