Hotel Hanaisawa

Check in at 14:00 Check out at 11am so you can stay comfortably. It is a relatively reasonable inn. The room is a large veranda with a Japanese-style room of 10 tatami mats, and the futon had already been laid. From this room you can see the JR tracks. Tetsu-chan's (railway fan) husband spent all night and early morning watching and taking pictures of JR trains coming. Now, this time there was a complimentary cocktail service in the lounge. I didn't go because I don't drink cocktails, but I did use a pair. The lounge was packed with customers. Private baths are free to use, so I used private baths at first. It is a family bath, so it is a luxury to use it alone. There were a lot of guests at the dinner hall. The color was beautiful and the content was included in spring ingredients. The sashimi was only tuna, but there was sashimi konnyaku and yuba, and it was beautifully served. There was also Yamagata beef, a hot pot dish, and some went well with wine. There were spring ingredients such as fuki snap peas and cherry blossom mochi, and the dessert strawberry pudding was delicious. Breakfast was different at the buffet than before. You can eat freshly made omelet and waffles of fish 45 minutes in a live kitchen style. The staff will be happy to help you with your meal. There was also a variety of sandwiches. Before, it was like picking up something that was made on its own, but the buffet venue was nice. I had three baths and was able to stay there slowly and leisurely.

It was close to the railroad crossing on the middle line of the corner room, but I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of an alarm. What's more, freight trains roared past. The windows were supposed to be soundproof, but I said, "Why?" It was like that. I tried to soak in the hot springs for the first time in a long time and get a good night's sleep, but for me, the sound of the train is directly connected to my work, so I couldn't sleep (laughs). Looking out of the window, the view of the city is not much different than usual because it faces Isawa Onsen Station. Is this what the view of the spa town looks like now? Also, as for the breakfast buffet, there was a valevalet ingredient that was simply a frozen retort of spa with hot water, but it was served at a hotel meal, so I would like to see something modified.

The overall evaluation of the hotel is not so good, but the day-use bathing wasn't bad. It's a 5-minute walk from Isawa Onsen Station, so you can drop in for a quick visit. Day-use bathing is available from 14:00, so I went at 14:30, and there was no one there as the hotel guests had not yet checked in, so I was able to enjoy the freshly cleaned, clean changing room and bathroom all to myself. The hot spring is of high quality, flowing directly from the hotel's own source. The bath felt like a large public bath at a public inn. The cost was around 1600 yen for a bath towel with the inn's name on it, a toothbrush set, a plastic drawstring bag, and a rental bath towel.
