The hotel was very good value for money yet also very comfortable, clean, quiet and lots of amenities. The room was a decent size with an en-suite shower/bath. You can top up face wash products/toothbrushes etc by reception. Most staff don't speak fluent English but they did have a staff member who spoke English fluently, so check in should be smooth for non-Japanese speakers. The Hotel Buffet in the morning is like an additional £7 equivalent or so but has a good range of food that morning, ranging from breakfast food to a few main meal dishes. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Kofu station and has a FamilyMart nearby. You will also find a variety of restaurants around the station area.

Although the hotel is far from Kofu Station and has some dated aspects such as the unit bath, the room was clean and the soundproofing was good, so I was able to sleep quietly without hearing any noise from the windows facing the main street or from next door. The breakfast buffet was also very comfortable and had a wide selection of local dishes, including Yamanashi hoto and inland-farmed trout sashimi. The hotel is also adjacent to the old-fashioned entertainment and entertainment district, so it's a good location for those who want to enjoy the city at night or if you have a rental car.

The room was smelly, need to be renovated. If you are not sensitive about smell, the hotel could be an option. I didn’t expect much, but just needed a clean room for a good sleep. When I stepped into the room, smelled something like an human aging odor. I had kept the window opened for for a while though, the odor was remain same. Plus, its bathroom smelled musty, too. Everything other than smell were good.
