If you're trying to escape from city, this is your spot as the biggest attraction is being so close from ethnic villages. I visited Akka village and it was a day to remember... Exchange so much with them without understanding each other's language.... Truly especial

The Adima Hotel has seen better days. It is vey run down and sadly a lot needs to be repaired, even the steps up to the check-in desk and restaurant. Very little that was on the menu seemed to be available but we did get some nice fried vegetables, rice and soup. The rooms are reasonably well appointed and have brilliant views from the balcony. The people who run the hotel are very kind producing extra blankets willingly when requested.

This was a lovely place to stay with beautiful scenery. The couple who run it are really nice. Although their English is limited they try very hard and do everything they can to make sure you have a good stay. The lady kept sharing her food with us and one day we had fried locusts for breakfast!
It is away from the town but having explored it that's not such a bad thing! Everything that you need, including great food and fruit shakes are served at the restaurant. It is very reasonably priced when you consider what they could charge. The first night we arrived there was a limited menu but the next day the things we had asked for had been bought from the market for us. The restaurant is a lovely place to eat, it overlooks 3 ponds, rice paddies and the mountains.
The room was large and clean. It also had a huge balcony. Water was hot but not very powerful. Everyday the lady who runs it offered to clean it and to change our towels.
Although out of town it's the perfect place to visit the villages and the Chinese border ( well nearly the border). The market is definitely worth getting up early for.
We walked into town one day which was pretty far. Take care about what time you leave to go back though as all the tuk tuks had gone and we ended up walking back too! The museum had a documentary that was interesting.
No wifi here but in my opinion that's not such a bad thing every now and again.
Definitely the best place in Muang Sing.
