Sala Prabang

Quirky little guesthouse beside the Mekong river. We had a great room with Air con and a mini fridge with a little balcony looking towards the river. The stafff were lovely. Handy to walk to town and the morning Alm ceremony. Our only negative was the breakfast was a little average but otherwise we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again.

This is a charming small hotel. Excellent location and staff. Most rooms are lovely but avoid room 101 on the ground floor at the front of the hotel. Dark and noisy. I had a nice stay once I moved to cottage 101. Breakfast was served on a riverside terrace across the street. Made to order eggs. Very nice.

The hotel is very friendly and welcoming. Our river view room had a large bed, fridge, TV, kettle and air conditioning which was very effective. The shower room was quite large with toiletries included. Position is great for exploring Luang Prabang and walking by the river. Breakfast is in a lovely riverside spot, served in a pleasant way with fresh fruits, eggs and toast and cereal. There is very little storage space for clothes etc. and only 3 hangers.
