Chindamay Guesthouse

I realise you can't expect much for the price. However this hotel terrible. The room was dirty, the toilet wouldn't flush and people could see into the bathroom from outside. The room was dark and dingy. At night the reception was full of motorbikes. The staff were polite though and it's not a bad location. You can get much better in the city for perhaps another 100 baht more. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

I stayed two nights at Chindamay in my trip to Viengtiane. It was cozy and nice guesthouse. The rate was good. Its location was very convenient for me to walk around to visit temples, the Patuxay, the night market, and even the Pha That Luang - the biggest temple in Vientaine.

The room had a tiny window facing the hallway, but not much fresh air circulating. Rooms have a decent size. Overall the floor and beds are clean, but need a thorough cleaning session. Bathroom was alright.
