This small hotel is a delight. Gardens, swimming pool, privacy and authenticity of the place totally matched our search.. Staff with little care, Very good food all at a decent price. We sincerely recommend.

I absolutely loved every minute of my stay at The Green Park Boutique Hotel in the Capital City of Laos, Vientiane. This beautiful hotel lives up to it's name. It really is a green oasis of calm on the outskirts of Vientiane. I chose this hotel to celebrate my 58th Birthday. And what a Birthday celebration it was. The room allocated was a spacious room overlooking the swimming pool. The balcony was a very welcome feature. A great place to relax after a day exploring the Capital. Housekeeping done a fantastic job on keeping the room spotless. The bed is one of the best experienced in all of Laos. Considering the high standards, this hotel represents great value for money. I loved the daily breakfast. The choice is outstanding and of exceptional quality. When staying in nice hotels I always look forward to breakfast and The Green Park does not disappoint. Above all else it's the staff that make this place very special. They really went that extra mile or ten to deliver outstanding customer service. The staff look amazing in their uniforms, put you at ease and are ever so friendly. I loved eating in the restaurant most evenings. And the best bit was receiving a Birthday card signed by the staff, along with a cake and basket of fruit. I never expected such a fuss to be made of my Birthday. I would love to return one day.

Walking through the front door is like exhaling. The staff is friendly, solicitous, prepared and helpful. The atmosphere is quiet, reflective and restful. The room was wonderful -- well appointed, well maintained and well positioned. Sitting on our deck or poolside you feel any residual tension from the day ebb away. The breakfast was terrific -- varied, plentiful and endless. You can order from the menu (which has many Asian, European and American options as well as vegetarian choices) and also partake of the full buffet. Although Vientiane is not really a walking city, we walked to and along the river's edge, to the night market (about 25 minutes away), to Pha That Luang (about 40 minutes), Wat Sisaket (Palace), Wat That Khao, the COPE Visitor Centre (less than 10 minutes away) and King Anouvong Statue / park (about a 15 minute walk). If I'm back in Vientiane, I expect I will stay here again.
