the room was cozy and comfy. the AC was perfectly cool.

Avoid this dirty place at all cost. Room was dirty breakfast was inedible. Hotel is dark and probably hasn’t been remodelled since the soviets left. We had a king suite and had to move from the first because it was so dirty. They moved us to another one that had no AC and a hand held shower so it was impossible to take a shower. The signs in the breakfast room threatening a €20 euro fine for taking food was particularly charming as was the staff cleaning out the breakfast room at the second breakfast was over. Oh wait did I fall to mention the blue bags of dirty laundry that they seem to use as hallway decorations

Very cosy and handy base in Kaunas. Cosy room with TV, tea and coffee facility, and easily-accessed internet. I went for a slightly larger room than a standard single, and it was pretty spacious - very, for Europe actually. Reception was friendly and offered a luggage-drop service after check-out. Breakfast included as a buffet with hot and cold options. I've had a "broader spread", but everything you need here and tasty. Some nice local breads. You are only about 100m here (via the lane past St Gertrude Church) from the airport bus stop here, so handy for get/in out, not to mention handily positioned between the old and new towns. On the flip side for accessibility, there are a fair few stairs here and there as things on varied levels - I didn't check the lift situation to be fair so uncertain if everything has lift access or not. Would definitely stay again.
