StarWorld Hotel

We made the right choice to book our stay at Starworld for 2 nights over other hotel brands. Room 2938 offered a splendid view and amenities were top notch (Nespresso coffee machine, teapots, bathtub and separate shower cubicle, heated toilet seat with bidet functions, Dyson hairdryer, L'Occitane toiletries, electrical curtains, plenty power charging points, good room lighting, etc) Starworld is part of Galaxy Group which offers a wide range of culinary selections with Michelin accolades at reasonable prices. Galaxy privilege card holders (GEG) get to enjoy discounts when dining at their restaurants. You can enroll at their casino with your passport. We tried Laurel and enjoyed their Peking Duck very much. Passion, a swiss-french bakery that is worh a mention with their daily menus and service too. Do note that Starworld is good for adult travellers who wishes to stay near Old Town. Galaxy which houses various established hotel brands at Cotai will be more suited for family with children with their resort theme. I would like to make a special mention and kudos to the hospitality team for making a birthday celebration a memorable one too. Peggy from reservations reached out to us to affirm our booking and to preempt us of Typhoon Saola approaching. The warm and friendly front desk hosts, Shaine and Andy being multilingual made us feel home coming and strike us with that instant familiarity. Check-in was usually at 3pm but we were notified that room was ready by 1pm, a bonus which we appreciated. A pleasant sweet surprise when we entered the room with birthday decorations that showed special care and attention! A personal welcome from hotel supervisor Rain and VP Jeff topped the bar and we felt special and privileged. Totally swept by their superb customer service, a holiday trip that any traveller would wish for. Thank you Starworld and their dedicated members for making this Macau trip such a memorable and special one!

Everything from Check-in until Check-Out was perfect. We have just come back from a short-stay cation to celebrate our anniversary and the whole experience was fantastic. The super friendly and personalized greeting at check-in, being shown to our room by the duty manager to fruits and wine on entering - the whole property and staff made you feel like a VIP. We dined at the 16th floor where they have a fantastic bar and outside area, and a great semi-buffet dinner at the the Temptations restaurant. Special mention to Jeff the hotel VP who greeted us personally at dinner, Chong and Joyce in front office for their personal help and arrangements during our stay and to Kenneth in the Whiskey Bar who ensured we had a fantastic evening. We can't recommend StarWorld highly enough be it you want to gamble or just stay in the city in style. We will certainly be back!

My BF and I are celebrating our anniversary at StarWorld Macau and the team sure nailed it! They make our anniversary so wonderful with excellent service and warm heart! the hotel staff even arranged special celebration chocolates and rose bubble bath when we are doing the city sightseeing, what a surprise! Hotel facilities and the cityline swimming are amazing, although it is not a brand new hotel compared to other new hotels in Cotai, however, it just got its' hotel rooms renovated so the suite we stayed is pretty fresh and upgraded, the hotel itself and the room seems even better than we checked in a few years ago. and the staff there are so cheerful and make it like coming home. if you are considering staying in Macau Peninsula, you must experience this hotel and their service! Pretty nice memory for this stay, will definitely choose StarWorld again if we visit Macau again during Christmas. Thumbs up!
