The location of the hotel was difficult to locate due to the construction around it. We had to ask another hotel reception nearby to find the entrance to Jo hotel. In the hotel, the lifts were old, slow and also rattle as they move. No security as anyone can go to any floor. We had a triple room (1 double bed and 1 single bed). The room looks old. Bed was ok and toothbrush and toothpaste were provided.

Poor service and bad management I asked for the Sales & Marketing Manager to contact me for Corporate rate, No one return my call or even email me I'm disgusted with the hotel Seems like Tropical Inn is better than the renovated version No one understands what I am talking about I think the new Owners are not in the Hotel industry I'm a retired Hotelier and thirty years in the industry with a PhD in Hospitality plz at least don't shame us, Even the two dining outlets are. operated by non English speaking Myanmar citizens without permits. The interesting part is the owner of the two dining outlets is a lady from Singapore She has no respect for Malaysian law And the Manager was working for her All officially illegals. Including the Filipina Manager. Disgusted

Neat and clean inside the room and outside. Bath towels, bedsheets were white and clean. Safe, aircon, water heater, kettle, television, toilet bowl were functional. Pleasant view from the room (22nd storey). 15 min walk from Checkpoint Immigration Johor Bahru. 6 min walk to nearby shopping malls and eateries. Spacious restaurant situated at the hotel lobby. Did not dine there. The package I booked did not include breakfast. 2-night stay. No housekeeping was done on the 2nd day. Was woken up during the 5 am prayer session (mosque located beside the hotel).
