NR Langkawi Motel

Since my regular hotel in Langkawi was fully booked, I had to look for an alternative nearby. While the location itself is okay, the overall experience was quite disappointing. The room was not great, and the bathroom in particular was a real issue—it had a constant unpleasant smell. Privacy was also a problem. The room was advertised as having a “garden view,” but in reality, it faced an area, where people gathered throughout the day—from morning to evening. It felt like being on display, as everyone could easily see when you came and went. On top of that, despite having both air conditioning and a ceiling fan, the room remained uncomfortably hot. It seems like there’s little to no proper insulation. All in all, even considering the price, I would not recommend staying here.

Very bad ,toilet small sink no shower a/c very noisy ,for electricity you have to plug in a key and there is a big noise going on all night long to stop it you have to remove the key mattress hard,for me was a bad experience because if you walk away you can find better place on the beach for a little euro more ,i didn t like the place and i left after 1 night but they charged 1 night extra as penaltly to do not sleep in a place was not fair

Stayed at this motel in July 2024 while travelling in Malaysia. The motel in the low season was populated by 60-70 percent, which indicates its good reputation. There are no luxurious notes of great chain hotels that have already reached the islands of south-east Asia, but in value for money for easy to climb travelers is one of the best options. Its own parking, small swimming pool, availability of smart TV, good wifi, air conditioning, fan, to the sea on foot for 10-15 minutes, friendly and responsive hosts (themselves came and refunded the deposit for accommodation with a smile on their face). There's no food, but that's not a problem on the island. The recreation area has a hot water cooler, coffee and tea are also available. The distance from the central beach allows you to relax in silence and listen to loud music at night, this beach can be reached by walking distance in 20-25 minutes.
