The place is fabulously done. And it fits into the budget nicely. Not too far from the beach and main market area. We really enjoyed staying there and the nice little restaurant they have in the front. Food was also not bad at all!! We were a family of 6 people and took one 4 bed and one twin bed room.

We got a room opposite the reggae bar. The lobby guy said he "upgraded" us to a deluxe-room - oh well, makes you think if our room was deluxe then what are the standards with a regular room..? Our room was the dirtiest dump I've ever stayed at. Dust, spiderweb and spiders everywhere, dirt on the floors/walls/roof, no sheets on the bed, weird toilet, gekkos inside the room etc. I've stayed in many kinds of bungalows in the jungle etc and I know in the tropics there can be many little crawlers in the room - but I mean this room has concrete walls so it shouldn't be that hard to clean the room of the dust, dirt, spiderwebs and spiders. The room was covered with them. We did tell the lobby guy about them and there was a promise that a cleaner will come and clean them - never came. We had to ask for the sheets by ourselves and make our own bed too with sheets that were covered with cigarette burnt holes :D Those things are little too much if you pay a price like this hotel charges. But still got to say that the staff are very nice, unfortunately I think the owner works 24/7 so maybe he doesn't realize the standards. I think the location was good aswell. Backpacker - go somewhere cheaper and nicer. Suitcase traveller - this is not your place. Go somewhere nicer.

We went with family of 5 persons & had booked 2 rooms. Our stay was quiet OK, nothing to complain as such. Good for small stay. All staff were co-operative. I say, this Hotel is having 2 parts, the reception is on the main road along with their restaurant, however the rooms are located off from main road & restaurant, on a walking distance of 7-8 Mins. The name of hotel "Rasa Eksotika Vacation Home" itself says you will get a kind of homely stay, don't expect much. Pros : Near to the main road & Pantai cenang beach Taxi stand is just on 7-8 Mins walking distance Many eateries are on waking distance, also 2 Indian hotels Mumbai Palace & India Palace are nearby. Cons : Little walking distance from main road to the rooms Reception is far, for anything you have to walk down to main road, especially it's difficult when you tired after sepnding whole day in site seeing I believe the cost of Hotel maybe be reduced a bit looking at the location & the facilities provided in.
