We had a pleasant stay at St. Giles Mid Valley. The hotel’s biggest advantage is its excellent location, with direct access to Mid Valley Megamall, making shopping and dining extremely convenient. The premier king room was newly renovated, spacious, clean, and in very good condition. The bathroom featured a bathtub with excellent water pressure and consistently hot water, which was a nice touch. One improvement would be to include a proper work desk, as it would make the room more functional for guests who need to work. A special mention goes to Mr. Swinder from the concierge team, who was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The check-in process was smooth but lacking in hospitality and warmth. The hotel does not offer its own valet service. However, the mall valet is located just about 10 metres further along the driveway and is very convenient. For self-parking, Zone P (Levels 4 or 5) or Zone U (Level 6) are the closest, and parking near the purple pillars provides the nearest lift to the hotel lobby. Additional hotel signage within the car park would make it easier for first-time guests to find the entrance. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. With its excellent location, newly renovated rooms, and helpful concierge team, we would happily stay here again.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I booked a Premier King Room for 2 nights. The room was quite spacious, clean, and comfortable, with decent soundproofing. The staffs were friendly. The complimentary nuts provided by the hotel were also a wonderful touch that I really enjoyed. The location is excellent, not too far from anywhere, and it's incredibly convenient whether you want to go shopping, grab a bite to eat, or have a couple of drinks at night, since it's located right between Mid Valley and The Gardens Mall The only downside was that the toilet paper was extremely thin and annoying to use.

Situated in the vibrant center of Mid Valley City, we found the Residents’ Lounge on the seventh floor and thoroughly enjoyed this charming place for our afternoon coffee and catching up on my messages and emails. The Lounge provides a variety of hot and cold drinks which are primarily designed to refresh and when we had our morning coffee after a hearty breakfast over at Ember & Brass, it provides a peaceful environment for reading, recharging, and relaxing in comfort, and also an ideal place for my meeting with 2 of my business associates during my stay. We appreciated the spaciousness of our Residences apartment, a genuinely stylish accommodation in the center of Kuala Lumpur, perfect for both couples and families. It blends space, privacy, and convenience, providing a peaceful retreat and the ultimate urban comfort and style in the city's heart. At the Sage Restaurant & Wine Bar, we started our culinary adventure with my cousin Eddie, and we enjoyed the unique blend of French and Japanese dishes. Led by Chef Don John and his team, we went through the paces of their dynamic menus, with the Soy Cuisine menu, this season's special along with it's expertly chosen wine pairings, an unforgettable dining experience! Priced at 95RM, we fell in love with the Daikon & Shiso Broth for starters, it was super refreshing, followed by their appetizer, an exciting array of Braised Stuffed Tofu, Edamame, Okara & Iburigakko, all nicely emplaced and equally tasty yet colourful; we also had the Konjac Noodles with Heirloom Tomato and Goma Sauce, which tasted brilliant and ended off with the Deep-fried Tofu nicely paired with Eggplant and Shishito, a superb combination! The main course of Warm Soy Milk and Tofu with Yuba, Wakame and Hakusai presents a clear introduction to the palate for a refined menu setting and we enjoyed how they juxtaposed this combination. The add-on was shaped by a Pan-fry Pearl Perch and it offers a Takenoko and Wakame Broth to the mix, just exquisite, for an extra RM60. Dessert for the Soy Cuisince was in the form of a Soy Creme Caramel, a Soy Milk Sorbet and a Kinako, and it was superb! We recommended this Soy Cuisine as a fascinating presentation to the Sage brand in Kuala Lumpur, thus highlighting the prowess of their chef Don! Fantastic stay; fantastic food! We couldn't resist not partaking their DÉGUSTATION À DEUX menu; the appetizer is an explosion of flavours with a marinated Wagyu Tartare with Oeufs Mollet and Kalamata Olive Aioli.. The Mijoté of Angus Cheek in Red Wine Sauce was well delivered and is probably the most tended beef cheek I have had in the past decade, so kudos to them for doing such a great job! My cousin has the Alaskan Halibut, nicely toasted with Beignet Sea Prawn and Miso Sauce, just immaculate! We enjoyed the Granny Smith Tarte Tatin which came with a generous topping of Mascarpone Ice Cream, to end off a lovely culinary evening! Thank you
