Anum Hotel

I booked this hotel to attend a conference. For the price the location was excellent. But for the price the service was lousy. When I arrived there was no one to help with the bags or attend the door. The cleaning ladies were lounging in the room when I went to the room. the paint on the wall was chipped over the bed and the walls were dirty The lock on the window was broken. The shower curtain was torn and moldy. The towels were stained and dirty looking. I asked them to change it and they did not. The bathroom ceiling was filled with mold. When they clean the bathroom is left wet and the toilet wet. The room has an over all smell of mold. The hallways are very noisy early in the morning. The tv did not work The general atmosphere is depressing and the front desk guys are hardly interactive. This is the worst hotel I have been to

like i said. location is good. - walking distance to pwtc - opposite to lrt pwtc station (public transport) - walking distance to kfc (24hour) - walking distance to sunway putra mall - got restaurant named Hyderabad across the road. - i think i saw a minimarket across the road too. - there's also a food court just before you reach pwtc building, you need to go down the stairs on your right. i got room with a mulfunction closet's door; door can't open nor close. a queen bed. one kettle. shower works fine. aircond works well. got refrigerator but it stop working as you pull off the key card. i had to throw away my ice cream because of that. if you brought vehicle, bad news cause thay didn't provide parking space. but there is a public parking next to the building which cost you RM6 per day. or you can park at sunway putra mall (monday - sunday. maximum rate per day is RM25). your choice. they used to have a restaurant below the hotel but it got closed due to rental problem. overall the condition is satisfying but the facilities outside such as car park and nearby restaurant is a bit downing. if you just need a place to sleep then it's more ok.

First of all, the only good thing about this hotel is the location as it is near to pwtc. I was having some event in pwtc so this hotel was the only choice due to the price. However, so sorry to say that this will be my first and also the last time to stay at this hotel as the rooms was terrible. Firstly, i had a room in fourth floor but aircond was spoil. Called to the receptionist to request for room change but they said rooms is fully booked and stated that aircond just serviced. I was very unhappy and few hours later i tried to call the receptionist again. This time the receptionist allowed me to change the room. I thought the newly changed room will be much better but it was more worst than before, the bed is smelly, the sound of water leaking can be hear in the room but dont know where it comes from. Bathroom was worst as it has a window facing outside. The bathroom`s curtain was not even suitable as the passerby from outside can see what we are doing inside the bathroom if light is on during night time. No privacy at all. The only staffs that i find it friendly is the indian/bangladesh staff. Conclusion, this hotel is a NO-NO-NO for me.
