Arenaa Deluxe Hotel

Hotel very well maintained. Services friendly. Perfect location for me to access to the Portuguese Settlement. Clean environment and able to check in by 1pm due to the house keeping doing a good and fast job.

The cleanliness was ok Slow free wifi, sometimes, no wifi Tv reception was poor A bit far from big shopping complex Free Parking, not very convenient No breakfast Restaurant Maimun and Chinese restaurant, across the busy road

It claims to be a boutique hotel. That probably explains the small room and limited parking. Location is drivable distance to the CBD so one need own transport. They have additional open ground parking across the road but crossing it to get to the hotel can be quite a challenge. Food choice is available from newly opened eatery across the road and the Perhentian Kuih Kampung a stone’s throw away. Room: a bit cramped but adequate. Well the price is competitive. Its just our luck perhaps: the wardrobe was devoid of hangers. At every level there is a common balcony where one can get a view of the skyline. Hotel is along a busy street of a main thoroughfare to get to CBD. So if you are assigned a room near the balcony, the good view is counter balanced with the road traffic noise to entertain your sleep. So ask for back facing room if sleep matters to you (even though the hotel may think that not all guests value sleep hence they do not believe in soundproofing the front rooms).
