Orna Golf and Country Club

Tried this course on Hari raya. Reasonable rates for nsrcc reciprocal rm125. Not crowded. Ev hole is an interesting challenge. However fairway grass needs to grow as got bald patches. Greens r good. Only some holes are too quiet with no one in sight.

Played two flights Saturday morning at Orna Golf and Country Club, to a empty course. There were hardly anyone on the course apart from our two flights and this is no exaggeration. After completing 18 holes, the reason became obvious, Orna golf course is extremely run down with no maintenance whatsoever. We did not see any maintenance workers and if there were, the maintenance work must be grossly inadequate. Putting greens were in a deplorable state, patches everywhere. Similar story with the fairways. Anyone thinking of playing at Orna, avoid this at all costs, you better off spending your money playing in Tiara Melaka golf course or better still Ayer Keroh Golf and Country Club. These two courses at not far from Ayer Keroh and the course condition is far more superior than Orna.

You would only stay here if you are on their golf package and even that is not advisable unless you are attracted by exceptionally low rates as we were. The rooms are clean and huge but worn and tired. Water flow/pressure makes the shower almost unusable. The restaurants are shut. There is a small cafeteria food r golfers. This place has seen better days
