First started staying here for business in 2015, it's 2018 now and I still choose Oak Valley Hotel everytime I'm in town be it for work or leisure.
For about RM100, you get a spacious room with a big bed. What I like best is the location - central enough to all the good food in Skudai and only 15 mins away from Johor Bahru city center. You'll need a car to get around though.
Admittedly, the hotel is ageing since I first stayed in 2015. The last couple of times I was here, the sheets seemed stained yellowish and I even had to get them to change the sheets once. I'm normally super particular about cleanliness, but it's the overall value of the hotel that you can't beat here.
