It's just under 15 minutes walk from Johor Bahru immigration. Go through the train station building next to immigration, then walk a little to the left (Singapore side) on the road between it and the shopping mall next to it, and you'll find the entrance to the private walkway to R&F Mall, so just walk straight along there. At the end of the private walkway, you'll cross a large road with R&F Mall in front of you, but if you don't cross the road and use the stairs down from the private walkway there, you'll be closer to the hotel. It's a 3-minute walk from the hotel to R&F Mall. It's a 1-minute walk from the hotel to the large food court (a semi-indoor food stall village) in the opposite direction from the mall.
The hotel is very old and the elevator can only accommodate 2 people. The room is not large, but not small either. The water pressure of the shower is not great, but there is no shower curtain, so a large area of the bathroom gets wet. There is a coffee and tea set, but there is no electric kettle in the room → they will lend you one. There are few outlets and no outlets next to the bed.
In Singapore, you can stay at a cheap price that you can't even afford to stay in a dormitory, so it's suitable for people who are looking for a cheap place. It's not particularly dirty, the air conditioner works, there is hot water, and there is a refrigerator. However, it is old.
