Fraser's Silverpark Resort

A dirty unhygienic room with moldy smell. No hot water in the bathroom and the shower head cannot be hung. Nice view and good wifi. Further WC filthy, in 9 days stay no staff seen or fresh towels given

We, 2 adults & 1 kid stayed in Studio Walkup 3 floor B862 @Silverpark Resort in August 2023. The apartment was very well maintained. Clean & thoughtful owner. U can do some light cooking. I really liked the deco. Makes the ambience felt very much at home yet exciting enough to be in a cold weather. Sitting at the balcony with a cup of hot tea was such a wonderful, refreshing feeling at night as the mist set in during the evening. I can even see the Maybank ATM located in Shahzan Inn from the balcony. U can also look down at the clock tower, a mosque and the Fraser Hill town square. Listening and feeling the cold breezy wind blowing at 6th floor up is some thing u cannot get in KL. BTW, Silverpark Block B8 is on elevated ground. It rained briefly in the afternoon and the evening through night after that was cold. A walk in the town after dinner was a pleasant surprise. Indeed Fraser’s Hill is a refreshing, stunning hilltop resort till this day.

Not much choice of accomodation in Fraser Hill, but this one consider a good one. They is few private operators provided this kind of ‘homestay/B&B’ accomodation in Silverpark Resort. Just choose the one you like. Our unit number is B15-6-2 and we booked our unit thru Agoda website (Studio Walkup B15 Silverpark Resort @ FH Comfy Home) Located in a gated area (Silverpark), this private studio apartment is a walk-up apartment, no lift. Need to walk up 3 floors to the highest level. Currently there is renovation on lower floor units hence the staircase is very dusty and dirty. This unit has a mountain/hill view, unit exactly show in Agoda photos. Check in and check out is very easy, no deposit needed, get the key from the guard post and return the key to guard post. Good size balcony with breathtaking view. Surprising microwave is provided (not shown in Agoda photo), we can easily reheat our foods which we brought earlier from Ulu Yam (limited food selection in Fraser Hill, especially chinese food). Drawbacks is the water pressure is very low in the bathroom, not really enjoying our bath. No wifi in the unit, but our Maxis and Digi line is working well there. Location is about 900 metre from clock tower and it takes 10-15 mins walk down the hill to clock tower. Overall we are satisfied with our stay.
