Genting Bayu Chalet

Booked over Whatsapp. First day was marred by bad weather and ferry delay. We took quad seaview chalet which is just in front of the beach. Great view. There are hammocks and giant tyre swings, few feet from the doorstep - just nice. The room was not so okay - thin walls and light was insufficient. We saw tiny cockroaches on the wall. Bathroom not that clean and water was trickling in the evening. But the room and bathroom were large, with working air-cond and hot water, respectively. We also borrowed Food was delicious -especially fried rice for breakfast. The resort is located some 10-15mins brisk walk from the jetty and there are eateries along the way - between them, they are open at different times day and night. Staff was friendly and chatty. Check-in and out were quick. Our luggage were transferred from/to jetty on a motorbike with sidecar, while we walked. Overall we have enjoyed our stay there.

1st time came here for diving trip. Just breathtaking about the view. The place is further than the jetty, but once you are here is just speechless. Staff was all friendly , rooms are worth a penny! Better yet the view at the diving place was so relaxed! If you want to come here to spend with nature long breeze and relaxed! This is the place you should be! Will definitely coming here next month.

Good location as it is 10-15mins walk from the jetty,where at times can be crowded and noisy.The beach is right infront of the chalets,only few steps away.Behind it there are mountains and jungles.There are many wild monkeys roaming around especially in the morning.The cafeteria only serves local dishes prepared by the hosts.Right infront of Bayu chalet,there is Bayu diving center.Many people took diving lessons and diving expeditions here.
