Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion

We had a wonderful stay at The Blue Mansion. Not only did we receive a very warm welcome upon arrival, but also outstanding hospitality and service from Jelal and his team during dinner and breakfast. All the amenities made our stay memorable, and we particularly enjoyed the tour which gave so much more depth to our stay in this place full of history.

Great place to stay surrounded by historic building and lovingly restored. Friendly staff and lovely room (Escoy) with stunning fretwork screen and direct access to the garden and pool area. The hotel is small and intimate and beautiful throughout. Traditional breakfast offered in stunning courtyard. Would recommend and definitely stay again!

I first stayed at Cheong Fatt Tze – The Blue Mansion about 12 years ago, and returning this time was very special. The hotel feels more stylish and polished than I remembered, while still keeping the unique atmosphere that makes this place so memorable. The interior of our room was slightly different from the photos I had originally seen on the website, but I honestly liked both styles. The beautiful blue walls, dark wood, antique furniture and carefully chosen details create such a distinctive world. Being able to actually stay inside this beautiful “blue world” feels almost like a dream. I also really enjoyed the swimming pool, especially because it stays open until late in the evening. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy the pool without feeling rushed. Another small detail I loved was the turndown service and the local sweets left in the room each evening. These little touches made the stay feel even more special and personal. The Blue Mansion has changed since my first visit 12 years ago and has become noticeably more stylish, but its character and charm are still very much there. For anyone who loves historic architecture, beautiful interiors and hotels with a strong sense of place, staying here is a very special experience.
