Ritz Garden

The hotel is located in Ipoh city, near Dataran Bandaraya Ipoh and several iconic heritage buildings. Early morning check-in was handled well by the staff, who were helpful and guided me to the parking area behind the building. The hotel lobby is attractive and well-designed. Free parking is available, and guests can access the main hotel area via an internal sky bridge. The room was clean with no unpleasant smell. Although the room had no window, the lighting was suitable and comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Soundproofing was average, but it did not disturb my rest. The bathroom was clean with no major stains, and the hot water with good pressure made the rain shower enjoyable. Air conditioning was cold, the bed and blanket were comfortable, although the pillow was slightly thin. The hotel does not provide breakfast. However, facilities such as a swimming pool and gym add value to the stay. The karaoke center within the hotel did not disturb guests. Overall, Ritz Garden Hotel Ipoh is suitable for a short stay or transit in Ipoh, especially for budget travelers. With facilities like a pool, gym, and free parking at a reasonable price, it offers good value for money.

The hotel facilities are old and the hygiene is poor, resulting in over ten rashes on my skin. The hotel's reputation is also very bad. The front desk agreed in person to an early check-out and a refund of the tax, but then denied agreeing to it when speaking to the platform. Communication afterward was also full of empty promises. I strongly recommend not booking this hotel.

Stayed here with my mum as all other hotels were booked and we had no choice,paid a hefty RM200 for this weary place.Hotel is rather old and in a dinghy neighbourhood with sleazy bars and other karaoke joints in front.Car Park is situated behind,in another building at the back. Most confusing part is you park the car and use a diagonal unimaginable skybridge that takes you on a journey past karaoke lounges,massage parlour and a vietnamese restaurant at 1st floor. Staff only provide one entry card and you have to use the same card to swipe at the lift,so if you have family in the room I really don't know how you manage this as they will be left in darkness!! and I was fed up and requested for another card!! Carpets on room hallway are old and threadbare,rooms are large and clean,bathroom is clean but our toilet flush wasn't working,so had to inform and they got it fixed! Breakfast provided is in the crowded lobby,super crowded and just like a market and people are fighting for seating and chairs.Unbelievable! Will not return to this joint.At least wifi was working and that too,you have to log in every 1 hour.
