Sabah hotel was very good for our one night stop over from Sepikok. The only thing that let it down was despite a non smoking room it smelt strongly of cigarettes. With no other rooms available we had to make do but it would have been a make or break if we were staying longer. The interconnecting family room was really helpful - luckily the children’s bedroom smelt fine. Having said that it was a fantastic pool, friendly staff and could cater for a peanut allergy which was useful.

We stayed for 2 nights and we were pleasantly surprised by how great the hotel was. We were in a large air conditioned room which was very comfortable. The hotel itself is large with 2 different restaurants to eat in and a cafe for snacks. All the staff were very friendly and the place was clean and comfortable.

Everything is great actually. Beautiful place, serence and peaceful, clean and tidy, comfortable and welcoming, the ballroom is super nice (the best in Sandakan), even the gym is fully accommodating and comprehensive. I'm only annoyed by one thing; the elevators. Happened more than five times during my 2 nights stay where the elevator doors closed but kept opening, causing a delay of up to 3 minutes spent just playing with the elevator doors spamming the close button. Really need to get those elevators fixed, it's time for a maintenance. It's super super annoying, closed the door so many times but kept opening. Other than that, it's a great place, just hope they fix the elevators ASAP.
