Hilton Kuching

We had a fabulous time at Hilton Kuching. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite with a fabulous view of the river day & night. The location is perfect to walk to both sides of the river &the light show at night. The chef Alex stopped by our table several times. We were so grateful that his team to made us Nasi Lamak & Laksa so we could try the traditional foods within our dietary needs. Jusnita i the cafe and Lya in the lounge were also so friendly & helpful. Every team member we met made our stay at the Hilton so wonderful!

I occupied a suite. It was very disappointing as the sitting room area was spartan and not cosy at all. The bedroom was comfortable was the bathroom. The suite was not worth its rate! Next time I shall just take a room Its an old property but seems well maintained The Sarawak laksa served at buffet breakfast was very tasty!

Spacious room, even for 2. Room is clean and well maintained. Sound proofing can be improved though, we could hear children running and screaming in the corridor. There are some shops just opposite the hotel including a Mini Mart and 7-11.  Bed is firm to my liking but pillows are too soft. Bathroom is a good size with all amenities provided. Service was also excellent and friendly. I appreciate them checking in on us over WhatsApp and you can also request for assistance there. The swimming pool is huge and looked amazing but a pity we didn't have the time to use it.  Breakfast was amazing. A huge spread of local and international favourites. Including a live noodles station. They do pastries pretty well too.
