Sarakraf Pavilion

I booked 5 nights in Sarakraf Pavilion. Unfortunately I decided to leave after 1 night. I booked the place trough hotels.com. It promised me to get a dorm bed in an airconditioned room, with Wifi access and free breakfast. The dorm did have airconditioning. But there was no internet available (no wifi but also no access otherwise) there was no option for breakfast. Furthermore the bathroom and toilet facilities were dirty. Also the location was not near the city centre or touristic attractions (this might be a mistake of the booking website, but I find it worth mentioning.) To make things worse, my bed broke in the middle of the night. Although I mentioned all my complaints, no solutions were given. That’s why I want to warn you before booking. I read a lot of positive feedback, maybe this is true for the rooms on top floor, but definitely not for the dorm room and its facilities.

I recommend. Great place, good food, lovely accommodation.... A place of character and culture... Yet lively and joyfull to be in. The owner Gerald is always ready to share a few good stories. I also enjoyed the interactive demos of various handicraft. The room was spacious and well decorated :-)

We stayed longed than planned at Sarakraf Pavillion. First we had a really nice and spacious room with hot shower, It was very clean and the airco was working good. After a couple of nights we could move very easy into another room with a shared bathroom. They even moved our bags for us. This room was also spacious and the shared bathroom had a hot shower and was clean. The owner and staff were very helpful and nice. Every day we had a nice chat with Jonnifer. Food and drinks were local and delicious. The staff gave us information when we had questions and called a taxi for us when we needed one. The handcraft everywhere un the building is beautiful, we would definitely stay here again!
