You need to climb 2 flights of stairs to the reach the check in counter. Then another 2 flights of stairs to reach the rooms on level 2. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. 1st impression of the room 210 is terrible. The room is small with no extra space to open up my luggage. I can open up and leave it on the carpet but then I will have no place to walk. The carpet has a huge water stain The toilet has drain flies. Room 204 is slightly better as it is more spacious. At least there is space for me to open up luggage. Toilet door alignment is off, keep scrapping the floor when opening or closing the toilet door. Housekeeping did a great job. Room definitely look more refreshed after a room makeup.

1. If you are staying multiple nights and book each night on one booking separately, the total out cost is less than what Agoda charges if all the nights are on one booking. 2. nicest rooms are those with windows. We were offered one but good thing i poked my head in for a quick look - noticed there was a big leak under the sink. 3. the cheapest room Deluxe Queen is tight. We had one adult and 2 kids --12 and under. We were glad we reserved the King for US$2 more as it is more spacious - good if you have large suitcases and needed extra space. If the upgrade costs more than that, we wouldn't have bothered. Also, King bathroom is more generous, less splashing from the shower to the toilet area, making it less messy for multiple persons using the bathroom. 4.parking tricky depending time of day. You may need to drop off and circle the blocks for lots 5. lots of good eatery walking distance. famous nasi lemak, Annie 1 wanton mee etc 6. house keeping cleans daily; provides toothbrush, hairnet, mini toothpaste, bathroom tissue, bottled shampoo, paper slippers. Pretty standard for Asian hotel, even though you are paying for only around $20/room. 7. staff service hit or miss. 1hr + check in!!! Even with my booking reservation code and confirmation emails in hand to show, they could not "find" our booking on Agoda and eventually receptionist "found" the booking in "booking.com". His tone implies it was my fault that the reservation "flew" to another company. They had initially put us in the Queen room. After unpacking and checked in >1 hour, we were told to shift to King room. Very awkward and tiring repacking and shifting. another day time staff (Malay) friendly and helped with getting around ideas 8. There was a water fountain but it tasted awful. 9. No elevator. we preferred higher floors for less noise. But that means more climbing 10. for the furnishing and cleanliness, it is decent value 11. great Thai massage place walking distance!

Last minute decision to stay the nite (we were on road trip) and this was perfect choice. Affordable, clean , free parking (on road in front of hotel) plenty food options very close to hotel. Windowless room but as we only checked in after midnight and we leaving in the morning didn’t matter. Bathroom clean and warm water. Tv. Bed was japanese style (on wooden platform). Bed comfortable
