very convenient for tourists who love the view of the sea and want to find peace of mind. Room conditions remains intact even looks a bit old. Structures and sculptures whole resort still retains the old Malay house concept. Employees here are very friendly and helpful whenever we have any questions. It is a luxury resort and can be categorized exclusively. Room rates are quite expensive but the facilities provided at par with the prices offered. Customer service and good food prepared well here.

Me and my friend booked 4 nights at this hotel to relax a few days at the beautiful eastcoast of Malaysia. At first I have to say this Hotel is really out of the way. There is almost nothing around, only a petrol station at a main street 15 minutes away. The Resort itself is actually very beautiful, nice garden, pool, restaurant, friendly stuff and a private beach. But all of this is a little bit shabby, it looks like that there have never been guests for years. We also were one of the little guests. And when it got dark in the evening we honesty felt a little bit scary... But the rooms were big and clean, and the meals at the restaurant were great, even if all of this is a little bit expensive I think. The beach is actually very beautiful, but as I sayed its shabby and there were just 2 broken sun loungers. So my result is that it can be really beautiful when they renovate their hotel.

I have just returned from a 10 day stay with my husband at the Aryani and had a much needed relaxing break. The management and staff were friendly and helpful regardless of the lack of facilities the hotel once had. The hotel uses the same taxi driver and when he took us to the boat for a days snorkelling on one of the islands he stopped and bought us a loaf of bread so as to hand feed the fishes. Receiving a present on our last day. These are the things you remember that help make a holiday. There were a variety of choices on the menu in the restaurant and we tried several and all were good. We became addicted to the lovely lemongrass tea they served. We had these daily whilst sitting around the pool. If you are looking for a relaxing break this is it but nightlife and noise somewhere will suit. Having read all the negative remarks in relation to the resort I can agree with some comments but staying for one night does not justify some of the comments made. Cats? We saw one cat our entire stay and never saw it jump on any of the tables in the dining room or outside. Neither did we see flies all near the food (in fact I see more flies living in Australia). The hotel is not just run by 2 or 3 staff. No children's activities to relieve a tired mother? I don't remember an advert saying there were children's activities. The hotel has been badly letdown by the "Royale Bintang Resorts & Hotel Group" who failed grossly in maintaining the complex and falsely advertised the facilities on the fb page etc. We did learn on our last day, that the resort now has new owners and will close shortly for a year whilst having a full upgrade. We look forward to returning in 2016 & see the friendly faces and new facilities but with the Malaysian charm that it holds.
