When I arrived , I asked myself, “did I make the right choice.” The hotel was situated in a residential area. It looked a bit sketched, but after exploring the area, it was just me and not the neighborhood. The hotel and neighborhood had a lot of charm. I was greeted by the owner “Omar.” He was pleasant and informing. The room and bathroom were spacious. Below is a description of the room: Queen size bed(medium firmness. Very comfortable) with a light blanket and 2 x pillows(1 x firm and 1 x soft). Side lounge area to chill Lightning speed Internet ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Flat screen mounted on the wall(included: Netflix, YouTube and other channels👍👍👍) AC unit with remote( super cold 😊👍). One outlet with two sockets(110 amp(usa comparable). Yes , just one and another in the bathroom. 2 x Side night stand Large Bathroom and shower(soap and shampoo dispenser). Nice hot water and pressure. Large light mirror (so cool ). Open closet in the bathroom with plenty of hangers. 2 x bath , 1 x floor and 1x hand towel . No in room refrigerator ( but can use the fridge outside in the kitchen area). Iron and board No hairdryer No in room safe The only issue I had was the entrance door and windows were not well insulated. You can hear the activity outside(cars, people and animals). Can request for a quieter room in the courtyard. I felt very safe in this hotel and neighborhood. There’s a lot of great restaurants just a few blocks away(see my other reviews). Omar’s family and staff went above and beyond , to make my stay feel like home. I would definitely stay here again 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Additional info: SJD to hotel (45-60 min ride) Transcabo $24 one way(very reliable). 10 min walk to downtown(marina area, clubs, loud bars , shopping malls, water taxi, tour shops, etc etc . 20-30 min walk to playa el farito beach 10-15 min bus ride to Walmart 20 min walk to AMC hospital for covid test $32(usd) results in 2 hours via email. 5-10 min walk to a variety of taco stands If this review was helpful , give it a 👍👍👍 Safe travels
