Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Resort Spa

Our Pool waiter Gonzalo and our Butler Rodrigo were amazing, friendly, funny, so helpful, we hope to see them again when we come back to Pueblo Bonita Pacifica.

We were there twice in 2011. Although the place is enchanting with great architectural features, the room furniture was the same as in 2011 and well worn! Our shower door did not close tight as one of the hinges was “bent”. We had a leaking hot water sink faucet. (They repaired it during our stay). There is no turn down service and that’s a five stars hotel let down! We brought our own Italian milled soap, however they never changed the soap bar on the sink. We had a great experience at the Quivira Steak House, however be ready to spend way above the $50. Disappointed with the peninsula restaurant. Great location, the best! Eating on the beach…food was mediocre and wine was expensive. During our stay they had a Texas country group with their fans. The DJ filled the air with expletive laced chats, that was not pleasant! We rented a beach cabana every day, however you still could hear the vile talk of the DJ, also blasting rap songs with lyrics that would make a 72 year old feel uncomfortable. We will go back if we can secure a room in the towers which were fully booked when we originally booked! An after thought: in 2011 the reception staff were sensational, with greeting smiles and extremely courteous with refreshing drinks! Now you get somebody who hardly speaks English and does not understand how to greet or smile or making you feel welcomed!!!!
