Lucerna Tijuana

If you are used to things at this hotel - it has changed!! I have been here several times with my service dog. Never a problem. Stayed on 5th floor. Had meals in my room. Everything was great. Arrived yesterday they have a 'new' pet policy! My service dog is NOT a pet!! Too bad. You are on the 1st floor. No security - anyone can walk up to your door. Not allowed in restaurants! I can order room service! But no menu to see ingredients due to many allergies that can kill me!! If your a pet person thinking of staying here now that they accept pets - stay away!! You will be treated like 2nd class citizen. If you are coming for Bioadvanced/Calzada - find another hotel!! They don't care to make your stay less stressful!! They intend to not have you relax!!

Please tell manager I’m staying at your hotel because it’s supposed to be high quality. Your treadmills in fitness center are very old. 2 are broken. A third sounds like it’s getting ready to break. You need new treadmills. You can buy 4 treadmills online that have been refurbished from Planet Fitness or other fitness centers. Out of respect for your customers please get new treadmills ASAP!

This was my first time in Tijuana in 60 years, I was traveling solo for some medical work. And I was a little nervous but the minute I stepped into the hotel I knew it was going to be a good experience. I was greeted warmly by the bellmen and front desk. Mind you it was 7:30 in the am and they allowed me to check into my room. The room was quite large with a beautiful view of downtown. They had all the amenities you would expect at a five star hold. During my stay I ate at all if the three restaurants and the food and device was always excellent. I could not tell online that they had a Mexican, Italian, sushi and ramen, and a breakfast buffet as well as two bars. They also had a great spa and beauty salon. The location was the best with everything including many restaurants close by. I had A upsetting personal problem there and was starting to cry getting into the elevator, the general manager happened to be walking by and caught my eye. Turned around and came over and asked me if I was ok. That to me is true hospitality. Two beautiful pools. If I went back I diffantly would up grade to the towers. They are a new addition and are stunning
