La Ceiba Chiapa de Corzo

Nice garden with swimming pool, noisy very basic rooms. Still, I believe, one of the best options in town. They cater mainly for big tourists groups and were busy when I was there. Restaurant was closed in the evening, the very basic town is walking distance away and better go early as there is nothing going on and not many options for dinner. Parking opposite of the hotel. If you plan to take the boat tour, about 10 min walk away, check departure times with the reception. I planned to go early and it turned out the first boat would only fill up after 10.30 am, no reason to rush. Maybe it goes faster during the weekend! Next time I would stay in the bigger city next door (Tuxtla).

Nice little hotel with pool, garden and restaurant we were only one night and the place was closed alos can't say about the quality as we didn't have breakfast either. The room was functional but there was unfortunately only cold water in the evening, in the morning it was then warm. For the price absolutely fine and a good starting point for a canyon ride

Hotel looks super nice with lots of colors, people don't speak English, but are friendly. The room was very sober, the shower remained lukewarm, the air conditioning made a lot of noise and there were small ants in our bed. The hospitality in the neighborhood is not much, there are therefore few tourists here. For transit it's fine.
