My experience at this hotel was the worst I have ever experienced as a guest. I suffered currency theft inside my room and the management response was outrageous and evasive. From the moment I first reported the incident, the management was nefarious: 1.⁠ ⁠ Obstruction and deception: Initially, the front desk assured me that they would check the security cameras to identify who entered my room. However, shortly thereafter they retracted the review, making the review conditional on a formal request from the Public Prosecutor’s Office and an alleged authorization from the owners in Mexico City. An obvious procrastination tactic in the face of a crime that occurred on your premises. 2.⁠ ⁠Ill-treatment and revictimization: Returning from filing a formal complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office, the manager maintained a hostile attitude. He questioned my honesty, asking why I was carrying foreign currency and absurdly claiming that his staff "didn't use" stealing foreign currency. 3.⁠ ⁠Zero security protocols: Instead of investigating the breach of privacy in their rooms, the management set about blaming me for not using the safe, ignoring their legal responsibility for the security of their clients’ assets. WARNING: If you value your safety and integrity, do NOT stay here. Not only is there a lack of security in the rooms, but command staff lack ethics, empathy and professionalism. It is a place where the guest is treated as a suspect after being the victim of a crime.

Very good location, just a few steps from the main square and the tourist walkers of San Cristobal. The room is very comfortable, does not have AC, only heating but during the night it cools quite a lot. It has areas with gardens, it is seen to give it adequate maintenance. The bellboys served us excellently, the room kept it very clean the lady in charge. It has parking a few steps away, the manager was very attentive. Only breakfast can be improved in temperature, time served and synchrony when serving dishes. Overall this hotel is highly recommended.

A beautiful and charming hotel located in downtown San Cristobal de las Casas, Mexico. The rooms were spacious and very cosy. The decoration in the dining room and the hall with very good taste using pieces of local handicraft made by local communities in the nearby towns. The General Manager and the rest of the staff, not only professional but, very accommodating. Enrique
