Chablis

Found this hotel to be the best of our tour so far. Upon arrival, you get a drink, the car can be parked neatly on the premises, enclosed. The rooms are very spacious, the shower area is large and luxurious. Beds are fine, and there is also a mini-fridge. Haven't tried the pool, but it looks nice. The restaurant in the hotel is fine, good menu and not expensive. The service is perfect, and we ordered breakfast, which was very extensive. In short, a 10 from us

When you make reservation through Booking.com for somewhere you've not stayed before it's sometimes a mystery what you'll find at the other end. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The price, the room, the friendly and helpful staff, and the location were all great. The restaurant located in the hotel is actually the best food we found in town. We ventured out to eat for dinner and should have eaten here, instead. One thing we did not understand was why a tour company picked us up at Tren Maya Staton without our requesting it. We went ahead and paid the shuttle service though it was way over priced (approx. $35 U.S.) because it was late in the evening and we were surprised by someone holding a sign with our name on it. I would NOT do that again because of the tour we booked with them the next day. I will write a separate review about the tour company. We later learned that a taxi to our hotel would have been maybe 200 pesos, so, in comparison, we paid an exorbitant amount of money for a ride to the hotel when we didn't need to. I would stay at this hotel again. It was very pleasant, quiet, and convenient for our stay 2 night stay in Palenque.

Basic low budget hotel. Good bed, shower and airco. Good à la carte breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel. Good location to explore the restaurants on foot. Late afternoon rather noisy at the pool.
