Good experience, the facilities are a little old and could use a cat's hand, the staff was very friendly, I loved being there because of the location at the foot of the beach, the beautiful beach, I would return. The perfect family plan. The only thing missing is food but next time there will be more organization.

Cockroaches , spiders, ugly restrooms with shower head facing the toilet and only a curtain that’s too small covering , when you shower the whole bathroom gets wet. . Thin windows , you can hear EVERYTHING outside , can’t sleep. The pool reeks. You smell after you get out.
The only good thing about it is the view and the food was okay from the restaurant downstairs.

It's an old hotel that for sure needs its rooms to be repaired and better bed matresses,..but everything else is excellent. You feel at home there because of the lovely, polite and very proffesional employees. We 3 and another Canadian couple were the only foreigners staying during our 6 days, the rest of guests were Mexicans which made our stay much better, so we could make friends and enjoyed great times with several Mexican Families. The best for us was the nice view of Bahia de Santiago from our room balcony *(105) , and during having daily breakfast by the ocean --specially attended by Heidy-, besides that hearing the waves breaking on the beach *(at just 30 mts away) and the many species of sea-birds flying and fishing in the area and the local fishermen and families coming and going on the beach. Ivan, Luis and Palapo do the best marine tours on 2 owned boats *(shallow & deep fishing + rods, baits, snorkelling + gear, whale and sunset watching) as well as enjoyed the best fresh fish seviche made by Gloria & Ivan! We were very well attended by the receptionists & security gards, camaristas, supervisors and different managers during our week there,...that's why we decided to stay one more night before driving back to Puerto Vallarta for flying back to Canada. For sure that we will be back again, sometime in the future, it's "Little Paradize by the Pacific". WE also drove to different areas of the city for shopping at stores on Centro area (south) and flee markets in the north area, eating at variated restaurants nearby and in downtown, driving to Colima city *(1 hr via cuota hwy) and to Comala town *(1 1/2 hr via hwy quota) as well as to other beautiful quite towns like Cuyutlan *(Museo de la Sal, Tortugario) and El Paraiso for fresh coconut water by the ocean under a palapa! Also we drove to other great and unique towns on Costa Alegre hwy, Melaque and La Manzanilla where it's pretty worth to visit downtown areas, el Cocodrilario, la Quinta Valentina seafood restaurant, the beach with tourists & locals. **It's way better to take the quota ways on hwy (toll) as per it's faster and better road condictions.
