It was so awful that I cannot remember my room number. It was either 33 or 34. Planned to stay 2 nights but on seeing the leaking toilet and broken tiled floor filled with stagnant water, I cancelled the 2nd night. It was disgusting.

We were not sure what hotel to stay in when we booked a trip to this wonderful place called Taxco so we went on the advice of the travel agent. Well it must have been good for them cause it was not good for us. The hotel is very old and that's not bad but it has not been kept up well. At one time when this place was new it must have been the coolest lodging around but time has let it slip away. The pool is clean and yes it is quiet being away from the center of town and all. It has a nice view but that all goes away once you are in your room. Old beds and linens, hard pillows, old fixtures and beat up furniture. A few little fellas bit me up pretty good too while I was sleeping. The staff was very pleasant and we did not try the restaurant so I can not speak to that. Way too many other hotels at way better prices, views and comfort to go here. Eh... you live and learn!

We could say a lot of things about this hotel. But my opinion is, that if you are staying 1-2 nights, it is good. Yeah, for the price you should have more facilities, but you are paying the view also, you know how it works. this hotel is romantinc, and i am not a romantic person. the view is spectacular. this could be one of the best hotels in Taxco. We liked it, it has its own magic.
